To have courage is to have the strength to do the right things, especially when they are not the easy things. Serving in the Armed Forces is never easy. Our family is privileged to have a number of veterans who have served the United States in the Armed Forces. Today, on Veterans Day, we give our thanks to these courageous family members who have served, we reflect on the sacrifices they have made for all of us, we honor their service and hard work, and we pray for their well being.
We honor all family members who have served in the Armed Forces, including Howard (U.S. Army), Kent (U.S. Navy), Craig (U.S. Army Reserves), Tom (U.S. Army), Joe (U.S. Marine Corps), Todd (U.S. Army), and Brian (U.S. Air Force).
We honor Michael, currently serving in Iraq, and pray for his safe return.
We honor Joseph, who has enlisted in the Navy, and pray for his safety in his upcoming tour of duty.
Please let us know of any other veterans, or any additional or corrected information about these veterans, that we should include.
Although GAP does not have uniformed pictures of all of the veterans, below are pictures of the veterans we do have. Submission of additional pictures is encouraged and appreciated.
Howard - United States Army
Kent - United States Navy
Joe - United States Marine Corps
We also remember and honor our friends and ancestors who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States and Canada, including several who remain unidentified.
