John's Missionary Farewell

I forgot to include these in the previous post, but GAP also has pictures from John's missionary farewell.


I am guessing these are from February 1977, because that was when the slides were developed, but I do not know the details. Does anyone have a good mission story to share (about John or anyone else)?

Karla recently posted some pictures of her husband, Brian, on his mission to Dearborn, Michigan, but omitted the details of just what, exactly, is going on with the dolls in the first picture.
